Dimopoulos Blue Trees Installation i find this very interesting because it is something so simple but makes such a great affect. the blue really enhances the green from the leafs and also the brown that you see. yes anyone can pain a a tree blue but know one ever thinks about doing that type of stuff which to me really shows someone who has a creative mind.

words cannot explain how fascinated i am with this. I know that you can create something out of anything but i never thought in a million years that you can carve in something so fragile like an egg. I truly feel like if someone is bale to do this then they are just amazing and so talented and i can only imagine how hard and how many eggs it took to even create this. this is the definition of out of the box thinking.

April 18/14 Site, Artists that play with Light & Shadow -
what this persona did was take letters from A-Z and placed on the wall in a way wear when light hits it the shadow it creates will be a face. i really am not sure how in the world that is possible and im sure it took so much time to figure out how to place the letters perfectly so that it captures the right thing. i did try this once at home after seeing this and it is as hard as it looks and it was not a success unfortunately but i did make me appreciate the people who take the time to create something beautiful.

April 11/14: Selections by Patrine & Ryan P
April 11/14 Spoken Word, To This Day - personally i really do love spoken word pieces but something about this particular piece is something that can definitely create a whole bunch of emotions. which is definitely a huge deal considering the fact that i am nothing close to a emotional girl. i find that when something can strike emotions in me then it most be something extraordinary. i strongly believe that poetry is a form of art, art to me is something that gets people thinking and something that gets people to feel a certain way by looking at it feeling it hearing anything. also the fact that he includes interesting anime also adds to the whole "art thing" it also bring people into his world even more now that we can hear his pain and also see it.
Sound, Logic-Mixed Feelings - it is no surprise that i chose this one i am in love with music and all types of music. music is definitely a form of poetry with a flow but some really just sounds like poetry and you can tell when you begin to actually focus on the words, which is my favorite kind of music i feel like music is such a powerful thing in the world and it should all send out a message your message and this is really what this rap did.

Crayon Painting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDfIRuSDXyw&hd=1)
I think that it is really cool that you can stick crayons into a glue gun. it is not what i expected i thought that maybe she would be creating something out of this world but the technique is cool and i want to try something like this but create a huge picture that has faces with tons of details.

The beaches are rebelling
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IacMQ3YmKM
this is a short clip pretty much explaining what an environmental artist name HA Schult has created he was trying to make a statement to the world to let them know that they are harming the world with all of their trash so what he decided to do was to make Trash army men and placed them on beaches or just in front of something important. I took this picture off of google because it is also made of trash the reason why I thought the video was cool was one it made a huge statement and two it shows you that you can definitely recycle and make something cool and interesting out of trash and this picture is just another example of something cool you can make out of trash.

Vik Muniz Art with wire, sugar, chocolate and string http://www.ted.com/talks/vik_muniz_makes_art_with_wire_sugar
the reason why i chose this because I find it so fascinating that Vik Muniz literally makes pictures out of anything I found it really could that he made a “sculpture” if that’s why you want to call it out of cotton I never would have thought that you can make something out of that its kind of like what we have been talking about in class saying that there is so much more you can use to create are pen, pencil, paint is really just 1% of things you can use to create art and I find that really cool.

One man, 100,000 toothpicks, and 35 years: An incredible kinetic sculpture of San Francisco http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2011/04/one-man-100000-toothpicks-and-35-years-scott-weavers-rolling-through-the-bay/
this website is all about a man who decided to make a sculpture of San Francisco out of tooth picks im not sure how much I have to say about this sculpture cause I don’t know who would not think this is super cool. I chose this because I automatically thought about the time it took for him to do this and also just to think about doing this myself makes me tiring again I just what to demonstrate all of the cool things we can use to create art as an artist.
